Celebrating a centenary from his birth, Kenwood House invites us to peep into John Gay's most beautiful collection of photographs, snapshots of London life taken during 1936-1996.
John Gay, born Hans Gohler in his native Germany, he studied art college in Paris and decided to reside in Highgate, England in 1935. Since then till his death in 1999 he has depicted the most interesting aspects of England's life, architecture, landscape and portraiture.
Surely, one of the most prolific photographers of the 20th century.
